The Divine Alphabet
1) The shortest distance between a problem and a solution is the distance between your knees and the floor.
2) The one who kneels to the Lord! can stand Up to anything.
From “One Line Sermons”
Sometimes you see something that grabs at your soul, your inner being, with more force than anything you can write yourself. This post is one of those. This brilliant prose conveys so completely all that we as Christians feel about our faith and it makes me wonder just whose hand guided the pen (or keyboard) of the author(s) who scripted them. I do not know the identity of the author(s)… I wish I did… so that I could acknowledge him or her properly. But to that “Unknown Author(s)”, I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart!

In you, Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame. In your righteousness, rescue me and deliver me; turn your ear to me and save me.
Be my rock of refuge, to which I can always go; give the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress.
Deliver me, my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the grasp of those who are evil and cruel. For you have been my hope, Sovereign Lord, my confidence since my youth.
